The project is implementing for a period starting from January 01, 2018 to October 31, 2020. Under this agreement, British Council with the partnership of Sudhaar will aim for effective delivery of Take A Child to School Project in the districts of Sialkot, Kasur, Sheikhupura according to the planned activities in order to achieve desired outcomes and outputs, i.e enrol and retain a total of 15000 Out of School Children.
Sudhaar Society will recruit/select 1000 young volunteers in each district, and provide training to these volunteer through 30 trainings. After getting the training, these volunteers will do HH survey to identify out of school children with the support of MC members in their respective target areas before opening the enrolment window. Two enrolment cycles of the year March/April main enrolment cycle while the other will focus on September/October enrolment cycle. Moreover, Sudhaar will organize mobilization campaign for the formation 3 new Mohallah Committee (MCs) and strengthening of 27 already established MCs in all the three districts. These MCs will organize community events, enrolment campaign, coordination meetings with the support of MCs for monitoring and retention of children in schools.
